Omni Design Group, Inc. is a full service design firm that provides Architectural and Engineering services to clients across a wide range of markets, including civic, commercial, residential, educational, hospitality, and retail.  Our services include Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering and Telecommunications.   Few firms combine this range of expertise under one roof.

Previously known as Mid-State Engineers, Omni Design Group was established in 1982. Since 1998, Omni Design Group has grown more than 150%, from 5 to approximately 35 employees and from one office to two. This includes a significant expansion into the Northern and Southern California markets. Omni Design Group has offices in San Luis Obispo and Irvine, California. These strategic locations enable us to economically serve the entire state. 

The main goal of our firm is to deliver high-quality, client-oriented design, shaped by sound environmental solutions: places that are beneficial to the user as well as the environment. We strive to provide a single point of contact for a comprehensive, all-inclusive line of services.

Omni provides services across the United States, from military housing projects in North Dakota, Montana and Nebraska to telecommunication projects in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  Omni Design Group provides data exchange service to our clients and consultants. It is an FTP based file server that allows cross-platform file sharing and transfer. 

Omni Design Group’s in-house staff includes two Architects Licensed in the State of California, two Licensed Civil Engineers, one Licensed Land Surveyor, and one Licensed General Contractor.  Project Managers, a Scheduling and Production Manager, and Public Agency Processors support this licensed staff.  Project managers draw from a broad range of experienced individuals; designers and draftspersons provide the production support; office and field surveyors supply the necessary survey support; and our administration staff provides bookkeeping and secretarial support.  AutoCAD draftspersons are cross-trained to offer support to teams as needed.  

Strong, in-house resources allow Omni to adapt quickly to changing deadlines and workloads, thus completing tasks within the time and budget constraints of each project.
